Direct Marketing Lead

As unusual as it may be for a call center rep to encounter individuals who are actually interested in the products offered by their company, there are people out there who are after all customers.

It is not that reps work in places that don't sell quality products, but rather that they usually only receive negative calls about the company and its products or services.  In such an environment, a minority of customers creates the perception that no one wants to, or likes to, do business with the firm they are contacting.

Even in cases where mass marketing firms send millions of pieces of mail in hopes of generating some interest in their offers, there are people who actually want those offers.  It is true that it may be difficult to differentiate what is wanted from what its not, based on the volume of marketing copy swamping mail boxes across the U.S.  However, enough appeal is generated by the mass drops to keep mass marketers in business.
